Unsubscribing from Emails or SMS

Learn how to manage your email preferences and unsubscribe.


How to Unsubscribe

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails in two ways:


Option 1: Click the Unsubscribe Link

  1. Open any marketing email from Walmart Pharmacy

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the email

  3. Click the "Unsubscribe" link

  4. Confirm your request


Option 2: Visit the Unsubscribe Page

  1. Go to: https://walmarthealth.phoxbook.ca/unsubscribe

  2. Enter your email address

  3. Click "Unsubscribe"

  4. You'll receive a confirmation


What Happens After Unsubscribing

After unsubscribing, you'll stop receiving:

  • ❌ Marketing emails

  • ❌ Promotional offers

  • ❌ Newsletters


Emails You'll Still Receive

Even after unsubscribing, you'll continue to receive:

  • Appointment confirmations - When you book

  • Appointment reminders - 24 hours before your appointment

  • Cancellation notices - If your appointment is cancelled

  • Important health notices - Critical health information

Why? These emails are essential for your healthcare and cannot be unsubscribed. They're required for appointment management and patient safety.


Re-Subscribing

Changed your mind? You can re-subscribe:

  1. Contact the pharmacy

  2. Or visit the preferences page (if available in your email)


SMS Messages

To stop receiving SMS messages:

  • Reply STOP to any SMS we send

Note: You'll still receive essential appointment-related texts.


Having Trouble?

If you're still receiving unwanted emails after unsubscribing:

  1. Wait 24-48 hours for the change to take effect

  2. Check if the emails are transactional (confirmations/reminders)

  3. Contact support if issues persist
