Booking from the Waitlist

Booking from the Waitlist

Learn how to complete your booking when a waitlist slot becomes available.


When a Slot Opens

When you receive a notification that a slot is available:

  1. Check your email or SMS for the notification

  2. Review the available date, time, and location

  3. Click the booking link in the message


Step 1: Click the Booking Link

The link in your notification looks like:

https://walmarthealth.phoxbook.ca/waitlist/book/[TOKEN]

Click this link to proceed with booking.

Note: This link expires in 2 hours and can only be used once.


Step 2: Confirm the Slot

After clicking the link, you'll see:

  • The available date and time

  • The pharmacy location

  • The service you requested

If this time works for you, click "Confirm" to proceed.


Step 3: Enter Patient Information

Fill in the required patient details:

  • First Name and Last Name

  • Date of Birth

  • Gender

  • Email Address

  • Phone Number (optional)


Step 4: Review and Confirm

  1. Review all your appointment details

  2. Check the privacy consent box

  3. Click "Confirm Appointment"


After Booking

Once confirmed, you'll receive:

  • ✅ A confirmation number on screen

  • 📧 A confirmation email

  • 📱 An SMS confirmation (if phone provided)

You are now removed from the waitlist for that pharmacy.


If the Link Doesn't Work

If the booking link isn't working:

  • Check the time - The link expires after 2 hours

  • Already used - Each link can only be used once

  • Slot taken - Someone else may have booked it first

If the slot is gone, you'll remain on the waitlist for future openings.
