How the Waitlist Works

Learn about the waitlist system for when appointments aren't available.

What is the Waitlist?

The waitlist is a notification system that alerts you when an appointment slot becomes available at your preferred pharmacy.

If no appointments are available when you try to book, you can join the waitlist instead of checking back manually.

When to Use the Waitlist

Consider joining the waitlist when:

  • All appointment times are fully booked

  • You have a flexible schedule

  • You want to be notified of cancellations

How to Join the Waitlist

  1. Select your service and proceed through booking

  2. Search for a pharmacy location

  3. If no slots are available, you'll see a "Join Waitlist" button

  4. Click "Join Waitlist"

  5. Enter your contact information (email and/or phone)

  6. Confirm your waitlist request

What Happens Next

After joining the waitlist:

  • Your request is saved in the system

  • When a slot opens (due to cancellation or schedule change), you'll be notified

  • You'll receive the notification via email and/or SMS

How Long Will I Wait?

Wait times vary depending on:

  • Demand - How many people want appointments

  • Cancellations - How often people cancel

  • Season - Flu season is typically busier

There's no guaranteed timeframe. Some people are notified within hours; others may wait longer.

Tips for Success

  • Join multiple waitlists - Add yourself to waitlists at several nearby pharmacies

  • Check your messages - Respond quickly when notified

  • Keep booking - Continue checking for regular appointments too
